Market House - Shepherd Neame
This grade 2 listed building, formally known as Earls, was transformed in 2018 with a total investment of £900,000, including restoring its original Victorian name - The Market House. The refurbishment works involved opening up the ground floor trade areas and include relocating the trade kitchen (to what was an old, unused garage) with an open kitchen pass. The trade toilets were relocated to the first floor and a new bar servery was formed to suit the location of the new main entrance to the side elevation, which leads up to Fremlin Walk Shopping Centre, Maidstone. Full refurbishment works were carried throughout both internally and externally to transform the building which now offers customers a highly improved atmosphere for both drinking and dining.
