Design ID are experts in the hospitality and retail industry and have been designing outlets for numerous clients across Europe for over 15 Years, with the Directors having around 40 years experience.
Design ID have actively been working on affordable solutions in these challenging times to overcome the social distancing regulations within the hospitality, retail and commercial sectors.
We have currently developed a number of solutions for various scenarios including dividing screen for restaurants, both internally and externally as well as till screens and various other methods of protecting staff and customers whilst minimalising the reductions in occupancy that would result without such measures being utilised. When considering different options for screens we have taken into account the need for flexibility and adaptation so table layouts can be adjusted to suit bookings etc and therefore any screening will also need to be adaptable and modular to allow for this.

Acrylic Dining Seperation Screen: Ref DID 01

A minimal screen for use with standard dining height layouts. Self standing on a metal base the screens can be butted together to give flexibility in screening length and are easily moveable for adapation in seating layouts.
The clear acrylic screen allows the customer to see fellow diners to help maintain the atmosphere without losing the protection required and allows tables to be arranged closer together than layouts without protective dividers.
This screen can also be used with screen type DID 02 to give an intermittent vision panel.

Timber Style Dining Separation Screen: Ref DID 02

A substantial self-standing screen with a solid grained infill panel. The units can be butted together to extend the effective length of screening.
These units come in a variety of finishes to suit décor [see Egger Kronospan range] and can even be used as stand-alone display/ blackboards when the social distancing legislation is relaxed. They can also be used intermittently with the acrylic screens to produce visible sections through longer lengths of screening.
Pictures or Mirrors can be attached to the panels to add to the feel and create interest to blend in with the internal décor.

Heavy-duty metal frame with reclaimed scaffold plank insets used to create an external self-standing screen that can be used to separate garden furniture and create intimate booths.
